I’m excited to create a new “big girl room” for my little girl once we get to Kansas City next week; however, I have loved this calming space for her these past 2.5 years.She is ALL about pink, so I’m excited to tie that in to her new room in a bit more “big girl” way.

The velvet pink curtains were the very first thing I purchased for her nursery and designed everything else around them.

I spray painted a wall hook white that I found at Hobby Lobby and hung up one of my dresses I wore as a baby (as did my little girl!).

The covers you see on the rails of the crib were for when my little girl was teething and would chew on the sides.

I never found a good spot for it in our new house until my husband moved it into the nursery area one day while he was cleaning out some storage space.That's where I decided to set up Kate's nursery.Everyone wanted to know why I didn't just make the 2nd bedroom downstairs the nursery.

(A great way to add extra storage space in a nursery!)

I just put some scrapbook paper in the frame, attached a few ribbons for clip-on bows (which Kate doesn't have enough hair to wear yet, lol!)

Kate doesn't actually use it yet.

I started with the crib and already had an ornate, girly twin bed in the room, so I wanted to build off of that.

On this little wall between the main door and the closet door I put up this thrifted brassy ledge and a sign from Homegoods.

London's Lovely Aqua, Pink and Grey Nursery

I said no, and so I found a way to have the primary color be aqua and accessories pink and grey.The grey, white, aqua, and pink were girly and modern, just like London will be.
