Double Twin Bedroom

We decided to makeover one of my parents’ guest rooms so that it would have two twin beds instead of one queen!BEFOREWe began by doing a floor to ceiling board and batten accent wall and painting the entire room extra white by Sherwin Williams.For the accent wall, we covered the entire wall with 1/8″ plywood and then spaced 1×3’s for the battens.

I knew when we began this space that we wanted to have Beddy’s sets on each of the beds.

We chose the color Love At First White for this room.

One little problem… this room is T-I-N-Y… to say the least!Another drawback, after taking these beds apart were these dumb leftover posts.Another thing that was kinda weird, is that these beds, once apart, had TONS of room under them… and sat up REALLY high.

LOLFirst we cut the IKEA bed skirt in halfAnd then stretched the bed skirt from one end of the back of the bed, to the other… and just stapled it right to the wood.Speaking of storage… since there is absolutely no more room for the girls’s dresser, we had to put it in the closet.
