Last week, I talked about mixing navy & coral in my wardrobe , so today I thought I would take that color combination & talk about incorporating it into your home!!In this room the curtains & accessories are navy and coral!The white walls & white bedding make my “light & airy” heart go pitter patter!When it comes to painting the walls coral….. These rooms are MUCH MORE appealing to me and definitely rooms I could see in my own home.

Coral and Navy: A Match Made in Heaven

It should come as no surprise, then, that slight variants of the colors – specifically, coral and navy – can be paired for an equally striking combination.I think this is due in large part to the freshness of coral and how it brings life to classic-yet-dark navy.

Both coral and navy here are used as accents to a bright color palette.Coral and navy both graciously fill the role of “accent colors” in this aqua-walled entry.Unlike most of the previous spaces where navy and coral serve as accents, navy abounds in this sophisticated nursery space.

When a girl is ready for a bedroom to take her into her teens, you want that room to LAST!She was tasked with making a little note on each pinned picture of what in the photo she liked (ie: wall color, bedding pattern, color combination, artwork, layout).Focusing on Navy & Coral for our teen bedroom color scheme, we love the mix of a comforter set layered with a quilt set.

We spray paint some open wood frames we found on clearance from Hobby Lobby a pretty coral color.

With that, our Navy & Coral Bedroom is done!

Let me tell you one more time in case you missed it…but I redid our bedroom again!!Grey I love, but the grey walls, grey bed and grey curtains were just too much together.

Isn’t that navy blue color fabulous?

It’s a rich and true navy blue and not royal blue, which I did not want.

I wasn’t sure about white walls, but I am loving them.
