We flipped the table bottom upside down and attached it to the table legs with 2 1/2″ wood screws and wood glue, from the bottom of the table bottom and into each table leg.

DIY Coffee Table--{Easy X Base Table with Round Top!!}

In this post, I’ll show you how to build this DIY X base coffee table with a round top that looks like a clock!So this DIY X base coffee table has been one of my absolute favorite projects of all time–not just because it looks nice, BUT because it incorporated a few angles in the process of building it 🙂.

My friend Jamison at Rogue Engineer actually made an x base table much like this–just a little taller and skinnier and using a concrete top for an outdoor side table.Step 2: Assemble Coffee Table Base Half XsThen, I cut and assembled two “half Xs” using pocket holes the same way.Step 3: Assemble X Coffee Table BaseThen, I just attached the two halves to the main X using pocket holes and screws again to make the completed coffee table base.

I have wanted to turn a round dining room table into a DIY Round coffee table like no one else’s business.Once we came up with the idea, making the coffee table was actually pretty easy.

DIY Brass Side Tables

🙂We used to have these DIY tree stump tables next to the chair.Cut your metal sheets to your desired height.

For the larger of my two tables I needed two metal sheets, so if you are creating a larger side table be sure to cut two sheets the same height.Prime the metal table base.

If you glued the cut side of the metal into the top wood round of the table(s) you shouldn’t have a problem with these scraping the ground.

DIY Retro Coffee Table

We love incorporating copper pipe into projects here at the blog, and I thought it would be a fun challenge to come up with a side table DIY that would really show off the beautiful color of the pipes.OK, so I basically made you a parts list of all the parts you’ll need.Letters A-E are all the pipe sizes (and the quantity of those sizes) that you’ll need, and F-H are the caps, tee fittings and pipe straps that you’ll need as well (they are also linked in the supply list).
