I have a 67" free-standing tub I'd like to add in the same spot as my shower area... my plumber does not know how to water-proof it when draining through the liner for the tub...Please help asap..

I am designing a walk-in shower + freestanding tub combo (see example photo below), and am trying to understand how much space I will need to fit both comfortablely side-by-side.~30" wide x ~54" long.The space I am planning to place this shower/tub area is approx.
