I mentioned before that I’d do a post at some point comparing using the paint sprayer for painting trim with doing it by hand.We painted the door to our walk in closet and all the baseboards that we removed way back when we tiled with our paint sprayer, the HomeRight Finish Max Pro.

The paint comes out slower and in a finer mist than with a heavier duty paint sprayer.And of course, the touching up where it got on the walls did not happen when the trim was painted with a sprayer outside the house.

Honey Oak from Hell!!! I need help!

We have just purchased a 4k sq ft home that is COVERED in oak trim/floors/etc.I want to paint the entire great room/kitchen/entryway area, but I have no idea what color would work for the honey oak AND our decor.

Also, I want to re-do the carpet runner up the stairs and carpet into the three bedrooms up there (we have 3 kids under 5) and I would need THAT to match as well.I realize that may not be the modern choice, but I'm picturing their feet on cozy carpet when they wake up in the mornings.

I don't have the luxery of time for trial and error (reference 3 kids comment).

I’m still over here painting things sage and this project did not disappoint.Here’s a look at the before:And after:This hallway has so many doors and is fairly dark so I wanted to give it new life.

So I primed the doors with Bulls Eye 123 Primer and then used a scuff-defense enamel in Benjamin Moore Sage Wisdom.
