Top 3 Places to Hide a TV Lift in the Bedroom
Yes, Dr. Phil would probably tell you that having a TV in the bedroom is the kiss of death for your relationship. There are plenty of happy homeowners who enjoy watching TV in bed and getting cracker crumbs on the sheets occasionally. In fact, concealing your TV with a cleverly installed lift is an ideal solution for setting limits on TV watching in the bedroom. Here are the favorite places for hiding a TV when it’s not in use:Foot of the Bed: The foot of your bed is a great place for a TV lift – especially if you want the footboard to incorporate a chest of drawers on either side of the hidden TV.This provides a great place to prop up your pillows while you watch those late, late shows.
Hanging The TV Over Bedroom Dresser
We love to watch the evening news as we fall asleep and let the timer turn the TV off. However, if the TV sits on top of your dresser at the foot of the bed, it may not be high enough to view comfortably. With the TV sitting on the cable box it just was way too low to view without multiple pillows. Then we got rid of the cable box and upgraded to the wifi system, but still the TV was a problem.Having the TV at the right height above the dresser for easy viewing from the bed makes it so much nicer.
