It’s Tammy here 🙂My husband and I recently finished our laundry room “make-over” and I’m excited to share the final look with you all!We just knew the room needed a major face lift, some needed storage space and a place to hang and fold laundry.

As seen all over Pinterest, there’s many tutorials on how to achieve the shiplap look, at a cheaper price.

DIY Inexpensive Wood Countertop — The Learner Observer

So the title of this post is misleading - I'm actually going to show you how I made two DIY inexpensive wood countertop(S).If you'd like to see the full makeover of this laundry room, click here!DIY laundry countertopLet's start with the countertop above the washer and dryer, which is made of 2x6's and 1x2's.

The plywood and 1x2's were stained with the same colour as the countertop over the laundry machines, so everything matches in this small space.

Pine Wood Laundry Countertop

Cleverly Inspired’s $10 wood countertop was my inspiration.I loved her countertops, but I thought I’d have some fun in the laundry room….

The Ambitious Procrastinator shared how she used wood glue and a stencil to create a oh-so-cool cabinet.
