Here in the south, it gets HOT quick, so there is only a limited time where we get full use out of our front porch (it gets direct morning sun and heats up SO fast). Coincidentally, I also recently worked on a design for an exterior makeover and front porch refresh!

I put together three options for the front porch decor that I wanted to share today.

For the exterior makeover, my clients wanted a farmhouse style, so I suggested a warm white paint for the siding and brick, gray for the shutters, and blue for the front door for a modern but soft feel.

In sticking with the farmhouse style, I put together an option featuring a metal and wood bench. I added warm accents and texture with a faux tree and seagrass side table.

I wanted to play up the black and white decor but still add a little bit of interest with light blue/green pillows to pick up on the blue front door. Ours is very deep so it perfect for laying down and reading a book or even an afternoon nap, lol.

I kept the color palette here neutral with a jute rug and added modern lanterns.

Our front porch is very long [almost 31 feet], so we also have space for a set of rocking chairs! I posted this on LikeToKnow.it a few weeks ago, and the chambray blue pillow has been one of my best sellers since [they are currently sold out, but definitely sign up for restock notifications!].
