Every room is looking so good and it really is the perfect spot for a single lady with a fabulous sense of style. This space has been looking pretty good since she moved in, but we only recently added the finishing touches to bring it all together.
There’s a small hallway with a big closet and then it opens up into this massive room with large windows and tall ceilings. We went with the paint color “Chelsea Gray” by Benjamin Moore in this room and I absolutely love it.
This gray is a nice true gray…with no green, blue, or purple undertones. The oriental inspired rug adds some nice comfort and plushness to the ground.
We found these floral pillows from HomeGoods and they add a nice feminine touch to the space. While we love the platform bed in my mom’s master bedroom, we kept it more affordable in here with a simple gray headboard and a white duvet cover.
On the wall opposite the bed, we added this wood dresser for even more storage. My mom keeps this dresser empty so guests have a place for their items when they come to visit.
The end result was a nice eclectic mix of colors, prints, and sizes. This is always a good option if you want to save a few dollars, because framing through Minted can add up quickly!
On top of the dresser, I added this white vase and gold box (both from HomeGoods). My mom and I have been hitting up the local farmer’s market every Sunday to scoop up fresh flowers.
On the other side of the dresser is a stack of hardcover books and a faux ivy plant. I swear this isn’t sponsored, it’s just the HomeGoods store near her house has so many good finds! She did just buy a new dining room table, so once we get that area looking good I’ll be sure to share all of the scoop.
