The couple’s collection of 200-plus plants—inherited from Johnston’s late father—thrive in the unit’s floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide a cinematic view of the East River. Taking inspiration from the calming home, we sourced key products—or in a few cases, similar finds—from each room so you can bring the look to your own space. In the airy living room, an iconic Noguchi coffee table sits between sections of a B&B Italia Charles sofa, with a France & Son reproduction of Wegner’s CH25 chair and Mantis BS1 B floor lamp to the side.
