Do you have a concrete slab porch but dream of sitting pretty, Southern-style with a glass of tea to one side and a good book on the other? You know, you can paint your concrete slab porch and add some personality! I chose a gray and white stripe because it was playful but classic.

I love the character it added to this space and after a year full of sun exposure, rain and snow, it still looks great. If you decide to buy, I will earn a small commission off your purchase at no cost to you. Valspar Porch & Floor Paint in Light Gray

Before you apply the Fast Prep, spray the porch with water and be careful not to create puddles. Using the garden sprayer, apply the Fast Prep to the concrete.

Use the your stiff-bristled brush to spread the Fast Prep over the entire surface.

When you feel satisfied with the area, rinse the Fast Prep residue away and allow the concrete to dry completely. We took care of this step early Saturday morning so I’d be ready to paint that afternoon. In terms of maintenance, I just sweep the porch once a week or so and scrub it with the bristle brush as needed.
