I spent zero dollars and created a red, white, and blue space. While going through my pillow covers and decorating items I decide I would need to have a garage sale.
I’ll definitely be getting rid of the slipcovered sofa and chairs, I’ve been itching for new furniture anyway so now’s a good time to start looking.
I so love the concept of slipcovered pieces so I may do it again just a different brand with different covered slips than I already have. To get a patriotic feel to the place all I did was add two American Flags to the mix and round up throw pillows that had red, white or yellow, and blue in them. If you’re looking for slipcovered furniture I highly recommend the JCPenney Friday Twill Collection , I’ve had mine for 6 years now and have had no issues, no breaking down, this stuff holds up like nobody’s business, it’s so durable.
